Have you ever ordered a serving of crab legs and lobster only to be disappointed? Did you feel cheated that you had to pay for some meal that didn't really meet your expectation? Have you decided that you would instead prepare your crab and lobster yourself? Don't worry anymore! There are simple ways that you can prepare a delicacy of crab legs and lobster at home. Make yourself one of the luckiest person who learn about the snow crab legs.

Thawing

The best way to handle frozen lobster tails and crabs is thawing them in the refrigerator for a minimum of 8 hours. Indeed, 10 hours is the best. Although you can cook both of them frozen, they are more delicious and tender if they are thawed first.

Prepping

Kitchen shears will need to be inserted in lobster tails and to separate the meat and hard shell on the back. Shellshould be clipped down but ensure the fan tailis not removed. Also, the underside membrane should be left intact. It is now times to pry open the shell, a lot of with gentleness, separating it from the meat. Through the split shell, you can now lift the raw tail meat, closing the shell after that and then keep the lobster tail meat on top. If you are interested in  lobster tails , please click the link provided.

If you have split crab legs split, leave meat in the shell.

Seasoning:

You will need to first brush the lobster tail or crab leg with butter and season lightly with garlic powder and some pepper. Do not salt since salt will make the meat drier and tougher by draining the moisture. You can spice them now with your favorite spices.

For the lobster, after fanning the end piece of the tail to avoid burning foil wrapping it, put the meat in a small pan and avoid using much water. Just use water to prevent drying and not more than that. Seek more info about crab recipes https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/06/30/crab-recipes-cakes_n_2599620.html.

For the crab legs, just arrange the meat side up on a pan and then broil it for a distance of approximately 4 to 6 inches from the heat source. In case the meat begins to turn brown excessively, you will need to lower the pan in the oven.

Boiling

Although boiling is not recommended, it is easily used to lobster and crab legs. It must be pointed out that boiling will somehow leave any seafood bland by bleaching it. You may, therefore, need to rule it out if your intention is a delicacy of lobster and crabs legs.
